The Trinity House Lightship was docked to repair collision damage received whilst at anchor.
The vessel was docked at Small & Co in Lowestoft between 15/01/2013 and 23/01/2013.
The internal forward space was ventilated with forced air movers and lighting set up. A cement box that was fitted as a temporary repair was broken up; this exposed a hole to the bows. Other damage to the ship was to the Port shell, internal stiffening, breast stiffening, centre hawse pipe Port hawse pipe. The main damage was to the two cast flare sections of the hawse pipe at the shell, both were cracked and sections missing. Upon completion the vessel was inspected by the Owners Representative and repairs approved.
