Klyne Tugs, who were recently purchased by Britain’s oldest tug & barge company J P Knight, are contracted by the MCA to provide Emergency Towing Vessels at four strategic locations around the UK coast until September 2011.

The Problem

All 4 main propulsion engines of Klyne Tugs Limited ‘Anglian Prince’ required extensive survey works at a Dutch dry dock.

The Solution

Seven of Small & Co’s experienced diesel engineers travelled to a Dutch dry dock to carryout extensive survey works to all 4 main propulsion engines of the ‘Anglian Prince’. This included not only the work abroad but also sourcing and supplying all spare parts required for the refit of this Klyne Tugs Limited owned vessel.

The Results

Klyne Tugs Limited were very pleased with the quick and efficient response from Small & Co which meant that all 4 engines on the ‘Anglian Prince’ were back in working order with minimal time out of the sea.
