Gray Mammoth Returns to Work

The conversion work that started in January 2011 to the Gray Mammoth is now complete and the vessel has returned to work.

The conversion work extended the accommodation on the vessel creating a new galley/mess room, shower rooms, WC’s, and berths for 6 crew, allowing for work in deeper waters.

Some of the other works carried out included the removal of the original bow roller and fabrication of a new larger 3 metre roller with modifications made to the bulkhead to suit, and a removable roller gate fabricated and fitted.
