Cleaning and Painting for Putford Athena at Small & Co
Extensive work carried out on Vessel in Lowestoft
The vessel was docked on 01/05/2012 to carry out repairs to her tanks and decks.
Whilst in dock her hull was high pressure freshwater washed off from keel to top bulwark rail in order to remove marine growth. The thruster grids were removed and cleaned and topsides washed off. Hull anodes were removed and replaced with owners new supply.
The hull of the Putford Athena was then disked and scraped in preparation for painting. Bare areas were undercoated and a full paint coat was applied over all. Rudder clearances and tailshaft weardowns were also taken.
Various steel and pipe repairs were carried during her stay in dock. The vessel was undocked on 25/05/2012
