The Vessel was dry docked on 15/12/2011 for propeller repairs, rudder calibrations as well as steel and pipework repairs. The team at Small & Co also carried out the painting of the hull below waterline.

The vessel was in dock for 5 days and undocked in the early hours of 20/12/2011

Survey vessel ‘Atlantic Surveyor’ was docked on 06/12/2011 for repairs to her retractable thrusters and painting of her hull. Whilst in dock measurements were also carried out for tailshaft weardowns and rudder calibrations.

The vessel was undocked on 10/12/2011 after 5 days in dock.

The Motor Tanker Oilpress was docked along with the Gray Test for ultrasonic surveys, steel repairs and renewals. The tanker also underwent a main engine survey, inspection and survey of tail shaft as well as modifications and calibration of the rudder.

The vessel was undocked on 05/12/2011 after 14 days in dock. Take a look at the work being carried out as well as before and after photographs of the work carried out by Small & Co.

The Motor Tug ‘Gray Test’ was docked on 22/11/2011 for repairs to her tow winch and crane. Other work also carried out included overhauls to tow hook and auxiliary engine.

Investigations were carried out on prop and shaft with measurements being taken. Gray Test spent 14 days in dock and was undocked on 05/12/2011.

The standby safety vessel ‘Putford Voyager’ was docked on 07/11/2011 for a number of repairs. These included bowthrust repairs, salt water pipe repairs and the painting of the hull below waterline.

After all works had been carried out the Putford Voyager undocked on 9/11/2011.

Ultrasonic thickness tests were carried out to Shell Plating, and repairs were made to the engine room Bilge, Ballast Tank Lids, and to holes in the Deck Plating.

Also repairs were carried out to the Funnel Plating, Exhaust Pipes were renewed and spark arrestors fitted. Her main Engines were inspected and repairs carried out where necessary, the Outboard Engine was also serviced. A new mast was fabricated for nuc lights.

All work carried out was from 26/10/2011 to 02/11/2011 in dry dock.

The Vessel was docked for inspection on 24/10/2011 and repairs to her Tailshaft, Rudder Calibrations were carried out. Propulsion and Tailshaft Weardown Measurements were also taken. Suction, Storm and Overboard Valves were removed, dismantled and surveyed for class, and an Overboard Valve changed out.

Repairs were made to Port and Starboard no. 19 Tanks.

The vessel was undocked on 26/10/2011

The barge arrives on 02/10/2011 for repairs to its legs. They were lifted from their positions on the barge on Saturday 08/10/2011 by crane and laid out on the yard ready for repairs to be carried out. The barge sailed from lowestoft on 28/10/2011.

The Vessel was docked for inspection from the 17/10/2011 and repairs to port and starboard main engine gearboxes were carried out.

Other repairs carried out included the port funnel, damaged areas of shell plating, and skeg tank, with general deck repairs being carried out at the same time.

Guards were fabricated for both the aquamaster coupling and bowthrust coupling, and the propellors were removed for repairs to their blades.

The vessel was undocked on 20/10/2011.

The work on the Tug included the inspection and maintenance of Main Engines including removal of Injectors for test and overhaul, function test and calibration of Engine Alarms and Safety Devices, Camshaft Deflection Measurements.

The DHB Doughty Vessel was Ultra High Pressure washed to remove marine growth, and was then primed and painted to specification. Aquamaster units were also inspected and overhauled.

After all works were completed the vessel was undocked on 15/10/2011.
